탭 브라우저로 유명한 Maxthon 이 2월 25일에 2.5.12 Beta2 버전을 내놓았다.

이번 버전에서 달라진 점은 아래와 같다.

Safety
+ added new interface for Privacy Mode
* fixed problem that safe box dialog may be shown incorrectly
* fixed problem that external links cannot be opened in Privacy Mode
* improved notice for malicious websites

Interface
* fixed problem that Mute Browser button state may not correspond to actual state
* fixed problem that browser may not switch to background tab

Browsing
* fixed problem that external links may not be opened
* fixed problem that opening https websites may crash

한편, 2월 26일자로는 현재 내부적으로 개발되고 있는 3.0.6.32 Alpha 버전도 공개되었다. 이 버전은 크롬플러스(ChromePlus) 처럼 인터넷 익스플로러(IE)와 크롬(정확하게는 크롬이 아니라 그 기반이 되는 WebKit 엔진)을 동시에 결합한 것이다.
