컴퓨터 간 파일 동기화를 위한 솔루션으로 유명한 Dropbox 는 많은 사용자를 확보하고 있고, 안정적인 동기화 기능을 제공하고 있지만, 현재 최신 버전은 0.7.106으로 아직도 버전 번호가 0점대이다.

이런 중에 또 내부 테스트용 버전으로 0.8을 내놓았는데 2010년 2월 19일자로 0.8.3버전이 나왔고, 2월 22일자로 0.8.5가 나왔다

이 버전에서 바뀐 점은 아래와 같다.

- fix for issue that would cause dropbox to falsely report that dropbox was moved
- fixed regression in installing dropbox on japanese/sjis versions of windows
- fixed to a couple 100% cpu bug that could occur in rare cases
- other stability fixes

아직 실험 중인 버전이므로 신중하게 적용하도록 한다.
